Regardless of what your job is, and what responsibility you carry, there is always something that adds pressure, and contributes towards stress. A lot of the stress created in the workplace is because of priorities. We tend to get to work, start working, planning on just getting through the day. And then the simplest situation comes along and spoils a perfectly good day. Suddenly everything seems wrong, and it feels as if you can't get anything done. Yet, unless you work on a production line of sorts, there is one single step you can take that will remove a lot of stress from your day. Get your priorities sorted out. Yes, it does indeed sound like something you would tell your teenager at home. In your case, the solution is actually even simpler. It does not require an attitude adjustment - merely a small change in your approach to your work. It is as simple as this: Decide what is important, and what is urgent. Urgent means it has to be done as soon as possible, but there is no need to spend the whole day doing it. This could include drawing files, making calls, and reacting to messages. Important means the task is going to require all your attention, and will likely take some time to complete. If you get the urgent (little) things out of the way, you will be able to focus on the real task at hand. If you schedule time to do something, you are committed to doing it properly. If something else comes up, don't stress. All you have to do is adapt your schedule. The important part is to prioritize, and decide which task deserves the most attention. As long as you are able to see the difference, and plan accordingly, your life will be easier. Tasks of lesser importance can be delegated, since the responsibility involved is less. The idea is to arrange your priorities in such a way that you free up more time for tasks that require productivity. You need to do less running around and more work. In order to do that, it all comes back to deciding what is important, and what is urgent. It's as simple as that.
.

How you can benefit from doing Yoga excercises?

Yoga is a very popular form of exercising these days. There are many kinds of Yoga and they are all considered a good way to keep both a healthy body and a healthy spirit. There are many benefits for doing Yoga on a regular basis. It is estimated that about 6 percent of Americans are doing Yoga once a day. This number increased a lot in the last few years as Yoga came to the front line of what is considered a healthy way of life. Although almost all physical exercise also benefits the mind Yoga is perceived to be unique in its equally important influence on both the body and the mind. The saying healthy mind in a healthy body is synonymous to Yoga.Yoga has been practiced for thousands of years although it became so popular just recently. Yoga was developed with mind and body as one entity that needs to be nurtured. Yoga does not consider the body and the mind to be separate but aims to unite them into one healthy and wholesome entity. Yoga does not put unnecessary physical stress on the body. Instead it brings the body and mind into a harmony that can help delay the aging process and make one feel younger and healthier. Yoga is not the same as meditation and or spiritual ceremonies although many times it is confused to be exactly that. One of the most important elements of Yoga is breathing. Yoga focuses on breathing on stretching and on using all of the body muscles from the large muscle groups to each small muscle in the body. Breathing helps control the mind. Yoga is usually done in a quiet room or with some soothing music. Yoga is not a competitive sport basically it is everybody to themselves and thus there is no unnecessary competitive stress when practicing Yoga.Yoga promotes self awareness and meditation quality. By slowly and deeply breathing and by staying in one position for a long time the mind can concentrate and can communicate with each part of the body. Oxygen flow can increase to parts of the body where it otherwise depleted. It is believed that Yoga can help many illnesses from random pain to diebitis and more. There is no scientific proof for that but it is believed that due to better oxygen flow and better physical and spiritual condition the body immune system gets stronger and the body can fight such illnesses more effectively. Like any other form of exercise Yoga should be accompanied by a balanced and healthy life style. Doing some Yoga and then running to the local joint to eat a cheese burger is not the recommended way in order to benefit from Yoga. Yoga looks at a person as a wholesome entity. In order to benefit from Yoga and to be healthier and feel better you should not just exercise Yoga on a regular basis but you should also live a Yoga life style. Eat in moderation and try to consume as much nutritious and healthy food. Eat lots of vegetables and fruits and drink lots of water.

How To Select The Best Camping Gear For Your Trip
(Thu Jan 22nd, 2009, by Rachel Nunez)

Camping vacation with a family is part of recreational activities; it is a time for sharing the love for each other and a great way to build a closer relationship between parents and kids. As an alternative, get one with a ridgepole, and always strongly stake down the rainfly to stay it stable in the wind, even though it is calm when set it up. I've been married 48 years. (It seems like only 47). Although I am a business coach now, I've been a therapist for over 30. . People come to me because they want to be happier and I help them achieve a happier life. You might say that I am in the happiness business. I've learned a lot.I'm going to share with you, the number one secret of happiness. If you can't do this, you're never going to be happy. Life will be a struggle unless you have . . .SELF-ACCEPTANCE. It means unconditional high self regard. It means loving yourself no matter what faults and imperfections you might have. No matter what mistakes you may have made. No matter how much your mother-in-law may criticize you.You can't be criticizing yourself, putting yourself down, getting angry with yourself. You might say, "I've made lots of mistakes. I've failed at a lot of things. I do not like making mistakes, I do not like failing. I just can't accept myself for that. I've got defects I don't even know I have. (Just ask my ex-wife.) Besides, if I'm satisfied with myself, I'll never get better, never improve. How can you possibly say, I should accept myself unconditionally no matter what?"I urge you to look at it this way. I have here a brand new $100 bill. Do you want it? Of course.Suppose I crush it up, throw it on a greasy driveway and stomp on it with my shoe and grind into the oil. Still want it? Of course. No matter how wrinkled, creased, soiled and stained, this bill has lost none of its intrinsic value. You are like this hundred dollar bill, except you are like a billion dollar bill. No matter how many mistakes you have made, no matter how many times you have failed, no matter how many times someone got upset with you; your intrinsic value never diminishes. No matter how wrinkled or dirty you are, your intrinsic value does not diminish.Everybody wants to improve. Business owners want to market their products better and to improve the morale and productivity of their workers. We all want to be better parents; always say the right things to our children and be there for them. We want to be supportive and loving to our spouses and lovers. And of course, we want to reach the our goals! What do many of us do when we do not reach our aspirations? Do you call yourself a failure? Get angry with yourself? If you do, you're probably doing this to motivate yourself to do better the next time. You mean well, but it's a very inefficient approach. True happiness will elude you.Let me tell you a true story about a CEO of a large meat packing company. He was a very determined man and lost his temper easily. Whenever he did not reach his goals, he got very angry at himself. He would stay that way for days. He was irritable at work, and worse, he was irritable at home. He said that was the way he motivated himself. Because when he was angry, he became twice as determined and worked twice as hard.He treated his staff the way he treated himself. When they did not live up to his expectations, he became verbally abusive. I observed him at one of his team meetings. He ranted and raved at his staff for the full hour. Most of the subordinates just looked at the floor. I only saw one become energized by this treatment. That was because he had the same system as his chief. When I talked to the other people on his team, they told me they left demoralized, unable to concentrate or do any work for most of the day.He told me this system of getting angry at himself is what motivated him to become a multimillionaire and head of this company. I happened to see him for marriage counseling (are you surprised, he needed marriage counseling?). His wife told me that she could not sleep with him because he was so restless and twitched all night. For his part, the man really missed sleeping with his beautiful wife. When he finally understood all the pain and suffering his angry rejection was causing everyone around him, including himself, he made a decision. He decided to accept himself totally. In place of getting angry at himself to motivate himself, he motivated himself by focusing on his goals. That man's business thrived. This home life was happier. His wife got rid of the twin beds.He had discovered the key to ultimate happiness and success, which is just to accept yourself, be kind to yourself, forgive and love yourself. That is the key to ultimate happiness and success -- to accept yourself where you are.Your intrinsic value is based solely on the fact that you are you. You are unique. You have something to offer this world that nobody else has, that nobody else can be. If you truly want to enjoy your life, if you truly want to enjoy ultimate happiness and success, you must give yourself the gift of unconditional high regard.Understand that when you made mistakes as a parent, or as a spouse, or as a business person; you did the best you knew how. Mistakes have in them the seeds of new learning. Every mistake is part of your education. I have an advanced degree in making mistakes.I challenge you, right now, to make a decision that you will always have unconditional high self-regard. That you will from now on, take the lesson learned from your mistakes and so-called failures and move on. Leave them behind. Be determined to do better from now on.When you are frustrated and angry because your goals are eluding you, and we all face such times, do not turn the anger on yourself. Turn the anger on the situation and harness the enormous energy that's in your angry feelings. But keep on liking yourself. Not only will you be happier, the people around you will be happier, your spouse will be happier, your children will be happier--because you are happier. You will succeed, and grow and improve quickly with less stress.Again, I challenge you to always honor and love yourself. For that is the number one secret of true happiness.

Boost controllers-Increase The Boost Pressure by ANIRBAN BHATTACHARYA
Automotive

How much do you care for you car? The looks and classy design of the car are not enough to tell who you are and what you drive; the power and performance of the car is also important! Boost control is an important aspect of your car maintenance and tuning. There are boost controllers to control the boost level produced in the intake manifold of a supercharged or turbocharged engine. There are manual as well as electrical boost controllers for engine management. For consistent boost level without any obstacle electronic boosts are preferred to manual boost controllers. The greddy boost controller is basically used to maximize the smooth power delivery of your engine. The electronic brain of the car maintains in a better and quicker way the boost pressure. The exhaust gases in the engine are taken out quickly to allow fresh air into it for better performance of combustion. In quest to maintain this air pressure of giving out and taking in, sometimes car owners do it manually through kits available. It is advised that you don’t perform that task because too much of air in the engine could mean intermittent loss of power to appear which would subsequently drive your car unstable and you won’t like it driving. Therefore the electronic brain is added to the valve to control the flow of exhaust and fresh air through turbo. This electronic control provides a better boost at the wide open throttle for a quicker response to every change that occurs in the throttle conditions. Eventually the performance of your car improves and you have a smooth drive filled with performance. Choose the right brand of electronic boost controllers for your car and have a high ride on the highway to check the performance of you car. Manual or mechanical boost controllers are not adjustable to that perfect level. It requires high expertise and skill to do that. If you wish to add manual controller, take your car to a professional car care taker or repair shop recommended by the brand of your car to get it fitted. Otherwise the mapped electronic boost controller would be a good choice for you.
About the Author: Myself webmaster of http://www.rhdjapan.com/ which dealing in all type of motor parts for your cars such as greddy boost controller, sard boost controller, greddy Gaugehks performance parts and more.

Torque vs Horsepower, which is more important? by DENNIS GERTGEN
Automotive,Hobbies,Recreation & Leisure

You've probably heard various racers and engine builders/tuners talk about torque vs HP. Some say "torque is what moves the car", other's say HP is all that matters. Well, you'll have to put me in the latter camp, because HP is the most important. Torque is how much twisting force you are putting on the driveshaft, typically measured in ft lbs. Horsepower is multiplying this twisting force by RPM (how fast you can keep applying this force).
If we didn't have gears, than torque would be more important. That's because in any 1 gear, the torque peak is where the car accelerates the quickest, producing the highest Gs. The torque peak can be important for launching the line, but after that HP is all that matters.
I'll try to illustrate with some numbers. Gears are torque multipliers. You can get most any torque you want, if you are willing to give up RPM. Say you have 400 ft lbs at 3000 RPM (228 HP) and 350 ft lbs at 6000 RPM (400 HP). If you stay in 3rd gear, you could get .4 Gs acceleration at 3000 (lets say 60 MPH) and .35 Gs of acceleration at 6000 (120 MPH). However, if you shifted 1st gear and put that 400 HP to work at 60 MPH, you could get, say .7 Gs of accel. You may accelerate the quickest in any 1 gear at the torque peak, but you will accelerate quicker in a lower gear at the HP peak.
Racing is all about quickest acceleration to get to the highest speed. Gears let you keep the acceleration high by keeping the engine in its highest HP range. For example, if your engine has peak HP at 6000 RPM, but pulls strong to 7000 RPM, you would probably want to shift at close to 7000 RPM, so when the revs drop back to, say, 5000 RPM, you are still in a high HP range.
Let's try some real examples, using Drag Racing Simulation Software. We'll try shifting to keep the engine around the torque peak, then letting the computer keeping the RPMs around the HP peak.
Condition Pk Tq Pk HP ET MPH Shift RPMs
Keep Engine at Tq Peak 270 274 13.43 99.46 4700
Computer keeps Engine at HP Peak 270 274 12.66 106.81 6800
Computer keeps Engine at HP Peak 270 268 12.60 107.74 6950
(broader HP peak)
Standard Power Curve
You can see the performance is much better when you keep the engine in the high HP range (12.66 ET) as opposed to the high torque range (13.43 ET). The graph below shows how keeping the engine in a higher HP range in lower gears produces higher acceleration rates.
To summarize, it is HP through the correct gear ratio which produces best performance. If you are building an engine, you want the highest average HP through the RPM range you will be using. For a circle track car where you don't shift, this can be a very broad RPM range. For drag racing with a high stall converter or very narrow ratio transmission, this may be a very narrow RPM range.
Kevin Gertgen graduated with a BS Mech Engr from Univ of MN, specializing in internal combustion engines. 12 years at Ford, mostly at the Engineering Center Dyno Lab and some at time at Transmission Dyno Lab. But there's really no reason why the family needs to find itself stuck in a strange territory just because there was no one to ask which was the correct way. Neither is it sensible wasting precious family time stuck in slow traffic just because there was no way of knowing this freeway is clogged. Car GPS are a fascinating work of years of research for in-car use; naturally, it’s just as practical and valuable too when on used by travelers on foot. GPS devices are something to count on especially when laying out plans for a trip, and there is no difference whether what you have in mind is a cross-country trek or a hopscotch tour of your routine stops.
But car GPS is really capable of getting you from point A to point B with least possible hassle, it also spruces up your holiday, helping you to think of more important things and letting it find for you the best, say, restaurants, or how best to get to somebody's place and still being able to gas up along the way.
Check out these car GPS travel tips to enable you to have the most out of the holiday season and skirt the travel blues.
1. If you think you will end up counting a lot on your car GPS unit, take time to tutor yourself how to use it before needing it. Take out the sedate technical booklets, and get comfy knowing what way points are (these are like the electronic “dots” on the map that you have to “connect” in order to get from your starting place to another). This measure of prudence will surely shave away tense moments on the road and prevent you from making horrible mistakes like loading incorrect information into an otherwise intelligent device.
2. Check that there are maps in your car GPS before stepping on the gas. Why not browse through them and test them just to double check? Are you also knowledgeable about the route calculation configuration of your gadget? You ought to be able to answer yes.
3. Power is an issue that cannot be underestimated. All GPS models require recharging from time to time. Ensure that you got extra batteries for the duration of the trip or have packed a universal adapter in your belongings. Battery life of GPS devices vary, and the best way to allow no loopholes is to get yourself a cigarette lighter charger.
4. Almost everybody knows the various dangers invited by a car GPS left hanging on the windshield in a hot car (or even if its just a mount, for states that allow people to do so) for long periods of time. If the heat doesn't destroy it, thieves may still get to it. Avoid making this a habit as soon as possible.
5. Most car navigation systems have a massive POI database on restaurants along your major highway. Pick the cuisine you are after and your car GPS will show results by degree of proximity. Screen out those that are not part of your route and the next time, your forward seeking food radar will refresh faster.
6. Some car GPS devices also double as some sort of Lonely Planet travel guide, containing some helpful travel advice which may prove to be the crucial advice you need when dealing with the locals, or trying to find out the right way to drive in that place. Stay sharp with your car GPS!

Qualified Auto Technicians in Demand by MIKE GRACEN
Automotive,Education,Current Affairs

Today's auto technician shortage is caused by several factors, including rigorous qualifications necessary to work on increasingly complex systems and fuel diversity knowledge requirements. Not to mention the past negative stigma associated with this career choice ("Grease Monkey" anyone?). The situation will only be intensified in the next decade when Baby-Boomer generation technicians begin to retire.
"Consider these facts: 16 percent of the U.S. workforce will be 55 and older in two years and 10,000 Americans will turn 65 every day by 2012. By 2030, one out of every four Americans will be 65 or older. Over the next 10 years one half of the top technicians will retire," said Richard White, senior vice president, marketing and member relations for the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA).
There is currently - and will continue to be into the foreseeable future - major demand for qualified automotive mechanics and technicians. Quite frankly, the auto repair industry has enough tire rotators and oil changers. What are needed are top quality, highly trained, ASE certified master mechanics. The kind of top-notch mechanic talent that comes from top-notch automotive training schools like Universal Technical Institute (UTI), WyoTech, YTI Career Institute, Baran Institute of Technology, and many more.
If you are interested in learning more about becoming a mechanic or more about the training programs available, we recommend you research as many sources as you can find.
One great source of auto mechanic college information is the Loud Market Mechanic Colleges Directory. Our directory has information on all of the top automotive schools. Plus, if you find a program you are interested in, you can request a free informational DVD directly from the schools.
In today's shaky economy, peace-of-mind that your job security is good to go is invaluable. Securing a job as a qualified auto technician is a great way to make sure you remain employed and make a competitive salary while doing something that takes true talent.

Knowing the Blood and Lifeline of your Car's System - Brake, Power Steering, Battery and Radiator C by JOVIR AMATONG

Automotive,Consumer,Home Repair

Now that you’ve known the other car care basics, perhaps it’s time we take a look at the fluid essentials that are literally the life giving blood of your car.
1. Brake Fluid- Is a type of hydraulic fluid that is used in hydraulic brake applications of your car, motorcycles and trucks. This type of fluid is used to transfer force under pressure from its point of origin among hydraulic lines to the braking mechanism close to the wheels.
Most brake fluids today are composed of glycol-ether but several types with mineral oil and silicone composites are also out in the market. This type of fluid should meet stringent requirements set by organizations such as SAE and the US Department of Transportation (DOT) - hence you get ratings on labels such as SAE or DOT 3 and 4 compliance.
As a rule of thumb, brake fluid should always be replenished if the levels in its container decrease with every drive. Fluid level in the master cyclinder will drop as the linings, brake pads and shoes wear and the calipers extend further to compensate. Brake fluid level may also be low because of leaking, which can lead to loss of hydraulic pressure and the most dangerous- brake loss.
It is very important to constantly monitor your brake fluid levels to ensure safe driving and fill according to the set level. Flush and change your brake fluid every 1-2 years to further ensure reliability and take note to never mix brake fluids with different DOT ratings as this can result to poor fluid performance.
2. Power Steering – Is another type of hydraulic fluid that transmits the power steering system of cars, trucks and other modes of transportation. This is the fluid that guards your power-steering pump and rack from wear and tear. It requires constant monitoring and refilling from time to time according to the required level in its cylinder.
A way to notice that your steering system is about to have a problem or that your power steering fluid is running low is when you turn the steering wheel and you hear whining noises. Have your car checked when this occurs to prevent serious damages to your power- steering system.
Note: There are products out in the market today that contain the combined properties of Power Steering and Automatic Transmission Fluids (ATF). Use any of these products to save and be protected more.
3. Battery Fluid- Is the electrolyte fluid found inside the cells of your battery. If you are using the regular type of battery and not the maintenance free one, then you are required to refill your battery cells from time to time with electrolyte fluid.
Standard battery for cars is 12V and usually has 6 individual cells inside it. To refill, simply remove the vent caps that can either be found on top or on the sides of the battery. Check and fill the electrolyte fluid inside.
Note: There are some brands of maintenance free batteries out in the market today that can run on dual power- meaning they also have vent caps for electrolyte fluids in case their power supply run out. Although this type of battery may not come cheap, it would be best for you to use it.
4. Radiator Coolant- Is a mixture of anti-freeze fluid and water designed to protect the radiator and cooling system all year round. Using one will protect your engine from overheating. Most coolant products out in the market today come with various additives that can further help you against rust and other forms of corrosion, lubricate or increase the cooling efficiency of your cooling system.
Simply pour out the contents of your coolant to the radiator reservoir. Add water to the set level and you’re done.
For maintenance, it is very important for you to drain and flush your coolant once a year (or depending on the product recommendations) and replace it with a new one.
Note: Never mix different types of coolant together as this can lead to damage or a reduction of your car’s cooling system. When you put a big bow on that ATV to have it under the Christmas tree or to give to him or her for a birthday gift, there is a lot of preparation you must do for this moment and plenty of parenting work to be done before you cut that youngster loose with such a powerful machine. Many of the biggest names in four-wheeler manufacturing produce models of ATVs that are targeted at the youth market. A four-wheeler that is designed for a teenager is not the same as the one you have parked in the garage that you use for your work or recreational needs. For one thing, a youth ATV must be built at a power level that can be handled by a youngster. You don't want to put the same level of power in the hands of a young person that you can handle as an adult. Not only is that a recipe for the machine getting away from the young person, that much power can give a teenager an illusion that they can do more than they should take on.Also, be aware of the fit of the four-wheeler to your youngster's size. To operate an ATV, the youth should be able to easily manage the steering and other controls and to access the readings that they need to drive their ATV responsibly. This may call for getting some measurements before you give the vehicle to your youth. But better to get them in on the surprise than to get them an ATV that is not comfortable for him or her to operate. This is both an ease of use issue and a safety issue.Safety is the number one issue any parent will have with giving a powerful machine like a four-wheeler to their young person. Naturally, along with the ATV, you will give to your youth the proper headgear and other safety equipment they must have to operate the ATV correctly. But gear is not all there is to safety. The teenager must be aware that when they take control of that powerful four-wheeler, the fun of the freedom and speed of the ATV is also a considerable danger to him or her. So it is a good idea to enroll your teen in some safety lessons in how to correctly operate the vehicle. A few weeks of well-taught safety lessons may be the difference between having good, safe fun with that ATV and an accident, which could ruin the four-wheeler and perhaps cause injury to your child. Any investment you can make in the ATV and in training for your youth is well worth avoiding that kind of nightmare.
